gettin access to remote DB's

I am working on an excel program that needs to access an Access database on a computer across town. The program is written and is accessing 3 dummy databases on my server. I can either be directly linked to that database or need to have it copied and placed on my computer at frequent intervals. I figure this is a network solution so forgive me if I am in the wrong category. Any ideas on how to do this.
